The introduction to this article states “The series has been cited as an example of postmodern humor.” And cites a boston.com article and a class syllabus. While I have no disagreement with the fact that ATHF is postmodern humor, I’m not sure how relevant this sentence is. For one thing, the boston.com article doesn’t “cite it as an example,” it simply uses the term “post-modern” at one point in its lengthy criticism. And is a class syllabus really a worthy source? I took a postmodern literature class where we discussed The Monster at the End of This Book: Starring Lovable, Furry Old Grover but that doesn’t mean its article gets to say that it’s a great example of postmodern literature.

This isn’t a first world problem, per se. It’s more of a “First World Discussion Topic.”
